FAQs

Below are some frequent questions we get about the race. If you can't find the answer to your question, please email info@pride10k.org

Can I register for the race on the day?

Entries on the day will only be available if the race hasn’t sold out. The event normally sells out at least a few weeks in advance so the best way to guarantee your place is to enter online.

I've registered for the race but I can no longer run, can I get a refund?

You can get a refund up until six weeks before the race. After this date it is not possible to offer refunds as most of the costs for the race will have been paid. All profits from the race go to our charity partner.

How old do you have to be to take part in the Pride Run?

You have to be 15 years old on the day of the race to be able to take part.

How do I know my race entry has been successful?

You will receive a confirmation email from runbritain letting you know that your registration has been successful.

I'm due to receive my race pack in the post but it hasn't yet arrived?

Please email info@pride10k.org. You will be able to pick up a replacement race number and timing shoe chip on the day of the race.

What time does the race start?

The race starts at 11:00. It is a 10-15 minute walk/jog to the start line from the race village.

As Victoria park is a large open space, participants should ensure they allow for the travel time across to the park in order to arrive with plenty of time to drop off their belongings at the race village and make their way to the start line.

What is Pride Run doing in light of the current England Athletics rules on gender and participation?

Pride always is and will always be an inclusive and supportive event for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. In order to deliver a fully inclusive event, in a safe and responsible way, we have made some changes for the 2025 event onwards.

All participants can register with the gender identity that they identify with and we do not check sex or gender at our event, (and nor will we ever do this). All results submitted to England Athletics will use the gender that is entered by a runner. For those who do not wish to have their results included in the submission to England Athletics, they will be able to do so on the entry form.

All participants will receive a medal for taking part.
